The latest “journalistic” opus of Al Jazeera states that Israel behind ‘Christian exodus’ from Palestine. No one has ever blamed Al Jazeera in objectivity when it comes to covering anything Israel-related, yet this time Al Jazeera deserves Guinness World Record Prize for biggest lie of all times.
First of all, the source of this “wisdom” is the research carried out by Dar al-Kalima University in the West Bank town of Beit Jala, a known center for incitement and terror glorification, definitely an “objective” body to conduct highly controversial survey.
The article states: “In Jerusalem and Bethlehem, the traditional birthplace of Christianity, Palestinian Christians are rapidly disappearing under the current political and economic conditions.” Palestinian people, whether Christians or Muslims, should blame their own leadership in the first place for the current political and economic quagmire.
Well, this is the Church of Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and it does not look abandoned – Christians of all nations and races are flocking there freely under to pray and express their beliefs, and all this happens under Israeli administration. It was not Israel behind Coptic church attacks in Egypt or barbaric destruction of archaeological sites of Palmyra. If Al Jazeera were looking for truth, the Qatar-funded network might have conducted survey focusing on satisfaction of Palestinian population by their leadership, whether it’s Palestinian Authority or Hamas.
