Republicans should feel relief if Bernie Sanders is winning the Democratic primaries. The Vermont senator with ultra left radical views that would make Leon Trotsky look like bourgeois moderate has nowhere to go. Unloved by both Silicon Valley and Wall Street, Sanders with total absence of any life achievements is an easy mark, a fish in the barrel, at the coming 2020 presidential elections. Michael Bloomberg, on the other hand, is not an opponent to be dismissed lightly, a self-made billionaire and former mayor of New York, is an epitome of the American dream. If Bloomberg loses to Sanders in primaries, Trump has already won the second term.
Withdrawal of Bloomberg from presidential campaign shifts Biden on the top of the Democratic stack.
