Why Israel with population 8.5 mln generates GDP of $320 Bln vs neighboring Jordan with 9.5 mln population and GDP of $39 Bln? The Pallywood’s soap opera had lasted long enough to distract the world from real problems plaguing the Arab world – poverty, rampant corruption, lack of education, lack of ecosystem to support social and economic development. What would Palestinians do with their independence? Will they create another “shithole” of the Middle East?
Finally we have a world leader who has courage to call things by their proper names without too much thinking of political correctness. The king is naked, if Mahmoud Abbas had truly wanted piece, he should have agreed to whatever is offered and tried to build thriving Palestinian economy just as Israel did with the cards dealt. And finally somebody told that to Abbas clear and loudly without diplomatic protocol.
