Turkey’s Erdogan names son-in-law finance minister in new cabinet

Erdogan, the new sultan of re-emerging Ottoman empire, is robbing Turkey blind. After Erdogan was sworn in to the new executive presidency things started deteriorating rapidly:

  • Erdogan sacked 18,000 government employees in a new wave of purge.
  • Erdogan named Berat Albayrak, his son-in-law, as treasury and finance minister.
  • Sent Turkish lira into free fall.
